Proposed Poultry Factory Development at Keal Cotes
(Planning Ref: 00805/26/FUL)
The deadline has been extended, there is still time so please do act.
Dear Resident
East Keal Parish Council is asking for your support in responding to planning application 00805/26/FUL, which proposes the construction of a 270,000-bird intensive poultry farm on land near Keal Cotes.
After carefully reviewing the planning application, the Parish Council has submitted a detailed formal objection. Our concerns include:
- Increased HGV traffic using the existing bridleway, creating safety concerns for horse riders, walkers and cyclists.
- Potential impacts from odour, noise and air quality.
- Risks to protected wildlife sites and local biodiversity.
- Concerns over drainage and water quality.
- The visual impact of such a large industrial development in our rural landscape.
- Missing or inadequate technical assessments that should be provided before any decision is made.
Your individual comments really do matter. Planning decisions are not determined by the number of objections received, but by the planning issues raised. Every well-reasoned representation helps ensure that East Lindsey District Council fully considers the potential impacts of this development.
