Benches and War Memorial Renovation 2026
In 2026 the Parish Council commissioned work to improve and update the benches in the village.
This was done by sanding, grinding and repainting and staining.
Work to update the war memorial was started by repainting in blue the old iron railings and the safety rails at the entrance.
Cleaning of the monument itself will be done in the autumn, with repair work where appropriate. The base and steps will also be cleaned.
