East Keal Parish Council Assets

Land

11.27 acres of farm land located off the west side of Fen Lane, East Keal approximately half a mile south of the village. This land is currently leased to a local farmer, who grows crops of grains, oil seed and sugar beet.  Funds from this go into the annual budget of the council and are accounted for accordingly.

War Memorial and Garden

EKPC owns the plot of land in the village next to the A16 on which the War Memorial stands, as well as the Memorial itself.  The Memorial Garden  was tidied by a volunteer ready for Remembrance Day but needs further volunteers to maintain it.

The Green opposite the Post Office.  Purchased by EKPC and installed by volunteers.

Hall Corner, Main Road, A16. Constructed, donated and installed by a resident, Callum McKinlay and several volunteers.

Blacksmiths Lane J/W Fen Lane.  Donated by Balfour Beatty Viking Link and installed by Stickland Construction Ltd assisted by volunteers

at various locations in the village.  Checked and maintenance organised by a Councillor.

Village Sign 

The Green opposite the Post Office.  Recently cleaned by a volunteer. The rose beds surrounding the Village sign are kindly maintained by Volunteers.

Flashing speed sign.  

Hall Corner, Main Road A16.  Donated and installed by Balfour Beatty after completion of their work on the Viking Link.  Installation assisted by Lincolnshire Highways.

Please note that the solar panel powering the device has succumbed to weather conditions and several cells have cracked causing power loss.  A grant will be sought for a replacement when available.
