Assets of the Council
Land
We own 11.27 acres of farm land located on the west side of Fen Lane, East Keal approximately half a mile south of the village. This land is currently leased to a local farmer, who grows crops of grains, oil seed and sugar beet. Funds from this go into the annual budget of the council and are accounted for accordingly.
War Memorial and Garden
EKPC owns the War Memorial and the plot of land in the village next to the A16 on which it stands. The Memorial Garden is regularly tidied by volunteers and contains a flag pole and a time capsule. A Remembrance Day ceremony is held here every November
