EAST KEAL PARISH COUNCIL – NOTICE OF MEETING

Councillors, you are hereby summoned to a meeting of the above-named council, which will be held at The Keals Village Hall, West Keal on Wednesday 15th May 2024 at 6:30pm. Public and press are welcome to attend. 10 minutes are allocated prior to the start of the meeting for members of the public to ask questions or to make statements to the council.

1. Apologies for Absence

2. Election of Chair – Signing of Declaration of Acceptance of Office

3. Election of Deputy Chair

4. Signing of Declaration of Office for all Councillors

5. Co-option of councillor to fill 1 x vacant position as per the Co-option Policy & Procedure

6. Election of Councillors as representatives

a. Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator

b. HR committee (minimum of 2 members) (CM / PS)

c. Village Volunteers

d. Interim Data Protection Officer pending new clerk appointment

7. Approving the Minutes of a meeting held on 25/04/24

8. Declaration of Interest (if any)

9. Discuss the requirement for a policy for approving content and responsibility for the Noticeboards

10. Approving the Job Description and conditions for new clerk

11. Highways Update

13. Review & confirmation of arrangements for insurance cover in respect of all risks.

There are no new applications

20. Financial Update:

a. Cheques to be written and signed for approved expenses from meeting held on 25/04/2024

b. Discuss and agree payment to Church towards the cutting of Churchyard grass £50.00

c. Financial Statement for year ending 31st March 2024.

d. Completion of Annual Governance and Accountability Return 2024/2025.

e. Bank Reconciliation Statement and Financial Report as at 15th May 2024.

f. Update from appointed auditor (LALC) of half year financial inspection
